Protective Styles Challenge December 2010-April 2011
Join the protective style challenge this year by only wearing protective styles throughout the rest of the fall and winter season. Protective styles will protect your hair from the harsh cold weather that can cause your hair to become dry, brittle, weak, and damaged leading to extreme breakage. This year protect your hair and enter the Spring season with 2 more inches of healthy strong hair!
If you are ready to begin the Protective Style Challenge you must not wear your hair in any lose styles during the months of December 2010-April 2011. Style your hair in protective styles during these next 4 months such as 2-strand twists, buns, bantu knots, single (medium) braids, kinky twists, cornrows, flat twists, etc. Also remember to cover your hair when you go out, deep condition weekly, and moisturize daily. Additional tips will be available on the site to help you maintain your hair during the cold winter season. Good luck and may we have 2 more inches of hair, 4 months from now.
To enter the challenge upload a photo of yourself with your hair in a protective style. Your photo will be displayed on this page to give other women ideas of how to protect their hair this winter.
